This year I have set a few academic goals in order for me to achieve the results that I have been trying to accomplish. In order to get into the Universities that I was hoping to attend and get scholarship money from them, I needed to get a 3.7 GPA over the course of the year. So far I have been successful in this venture by maintaining good grades and keeping up with my school work. Without goals I would not have a drive to complete any of my work and honestly senoritis would have taken over years ago.
My rec basketball team is not the most accomplished team in the league to say the least. We average about a 3-9 season every year and get smacked around by the other Sycamore teams when we play them. So last year we set a few reasonable goals for our season, have a win streak, make the playoffs, and win a playoff game. By all of our amazement we were successful in all three of our goals having the most successful season in team history. We finished the season 5-7, had a 3 game win streak, and won 2 games in the postseason tournament. Having reasonable goals made a unsuccessful season for some into a great success for us.
Having goals for the capstone project is very important. Goals will make sure you stay on topic and dont fall behind on all the work that you have to do in order to successfully complete the project. Without goals, there would be no drive to do the work and you will fall way behind and may not even be able to finish the project on time and be able to walk with your class at graduation.
My Goal for this coming week in capstone is to start using diigo to find reputable sources for my research and begin compiling at least 4 good sources/articles for information about technology in the classroom.
